I think your last paragraph sums up everything quite nicely. Appealing to students in nontraditional ways is a great way to get them engaged. It helps tremendously when we start to examine their multiple intelligences.
ReplyDeleteNice job summarizing software types and the relative advantages. I was disappointed with Education World's article Load "Em Up: The Best Software in the Education World because it was too outdated. Software changes too much and I personally didn't agree with some of the ratings. I was very surprised that Front Page was rated better/easier than Dreamweaver. I searched for a more current version but no luck.
